"On Monday, I ran into a neighbor...She suffers from some health problems including frequent headaches, and rheumatoid arthritis.
A couple of weeks ago, Abbott helped her out with a water leak in her unit (turned out to be a hose on her toilet), and must have learned about her health issues when the Abbott facilities engineer spoke with her. When I saw my neighbor on Monday, she told me that she had had a rough weekend. Incidentally, she did not get her Sunday or Monday newspapers. An Abbott staff person knocked on her door Monday, and told her he was just checking in on her because he noticed the newspapers from two days, and that her car was in its normal spot.

My neighbor was very touched, and told me she closed the door and cried, because he was so kind to her.

Just wanted to pass that along as yet another example of Abbott going above and beyond."

A good example is Abbott's technician recently repaired the gate for $65. Our usual vendor won't even come out here for less than a couple hundred dollars in trip charges. I have seen Abbott be very diligent with spending the HOA $$ with them where it makes sense and deferring to an outside vendor where it doesn't."
